How do you apply makeup? What stuff do you need? You may wonder, well I’m about to answer all your questions.

For starters in makeup there are various amount of products, depending on the person you are. There is primer, foundation, concealer, setting powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, brow pencil or, brow pomade, contour, blush, highlight, setting spray, eyelashes. This might seem overwhelming, but once you get into the article, you’ll get the gist of it.

Primer is used to help the foundation stay on, and go on smoother.

Foundation is used as a base. It covers up redness, acne, and more.

Concealer is used to help brighter up the under eye. It also helps with acne.

Setting powder is used to set the makeup, so that it stays on longer, and doesn’t come off when you sweat.

Eyeshadow is used to make your eyes pop. Different tones of colors can make different eye colors stand out. For example, for blue eyes you would use purple and darker colors. For brown eyes you would use colors like gold and smokey browns.

Eyeliner is used to also make your eyes stand out.

Brow pencil is used to define your brow shape.

Contour is used to make your face appear slimmer.

Blush is used to add some color to your face.

Bronzer is used to add more warmth into the face.

Highlight is used to make your look brighter and makes your cheek bones glow.

Eyelashes are used to make your eyelashes appear longer and fuller. They could also be used to make the look more dramatic.

Mascara is used to make your eyelashes darker, and longer.

Last of all, setting spray is used to keep the look locked in for hours.
